Autumn Clothing Picks

It's Autumn/Winter finally!!! However I really do miss the sun and my tan! Anyway as per usual I have been using all my babysiting money (which is actually a great job) and I have been buying new winter clothing!!

I have been shopping at Primark, Newlook, h&m, topshop and lastly liquid glamour lounge! Liquid glamour lounge is were I have my nails done and they also do shopping nights and sell quality clothing!

They sell things like gillets, capes, handbags, shoes, jewellery! And honestly there products are such good quality they have the same styles as high streets but find products that are better quality then places like topshop ect! I have a couple stuff from there including my gillet and my new cape!!!

I have my cape which is a cream colour which is recently brought and it's perfect! I have wore it when I went out for a family meal and shopping!!! Everyone comments on it and how nice it looks!

But they have just recently made a website where they are selling these items and I really recommend them! http://www.liquidglamourlounge.co.uk/shop-front.htm a lot of the clothing items I have purchased are on there!

Thank you for reading!!! I thought it would be nice to just talk about these unique pieces of clothing and just tell you where I get them from and it's better now because they are online! And enjoy!!

You Can Do Anything! ♡ Quick Update

As I am sure you can tell this isn't a normal blog post but I thought I'd try something different today. I love quotes and think that they can really help when you feel weighed down. Me and Alicia have passed our GCSEs and are now studying for our A Levels. We weren't expecting it to be easy but we are suddenly being pulled and pushed from 4 angles and it is becoming more and more stressful. I believe you can do anything you set your mind to as long as you work and there's no such word as can't (I think that comes from the dancer in me) but I think we have all been doubting ourselves lately which is not good. Sometimes we all need some motivation which hopefully this post can give. People say you should just aim to be happy which is true but I believe everyone will be happier if they achieve bigger and better things which all comes from hard work. However, with hard work , as much as we hate it, sometimes things have to slip. This is why I haven't been posting on here much but I am planing things that I can upload when I have time.

Im not sure where I'm going with this anymore but I just wanted you to know I am alive! and that we wont be posting very regularly at the moment while we get on top of all our work.

Back to school outfit ideas

So back to school unfortunatley and this year me and Abbie are going back to school for sixth form as we passed our GCSE but that also means working harder, however we have my freedom as our school  sixth form doesn't have a uniform but we have to dress smart! So I thought why not do a blog post on some outfits that I will be wearing for sixth form because it's a struggle for people when the dress code is smart because you want to look smart but not too smart because then in my opinion can make you're appearance look older!

First Outfit idea:

The first outfit Idea which I thought about was one of my favourite, I decided that the appearance off it was smart but I did dress it down because I mean work trousers aren't that comfatable to wear so I have Topshop Leigh Black Jeans which are very soft but I also tried Black cigarette trousersfrom Topshop also and those will what I will be wearing, then my top which is Strappy Pleat Cami from Zara in the sale and then to keep my warm I just have a basic black and white blazer from Miss Selfridge which is really comfatable!
Then for the little details I have my black loafers which are from a small warehouse  called Monkey schu where you get designer shoes for a cheap price because there might be something wrong with them, then my watch it's Michael Kors one I always wear and my two braclets are Pandora and Tiffanys which I always wear and then my necklace is from Primark!

Second Outfit Idea:

Is more of a smarter look which looks very dressy but in a way looks like you haven't really tried with you're outfit! I really like this outfit and I think it's perfect for autumn because it's the time in the season where dark colours are coming in but it's not quite cold enough for the dark colours and big coats! So first my Grey Cigarette trousers are from Primark believe it or not and they are skinner then the Topshop ones in the previous outfit, and then my sheer pink blouse is from H&M and it's so comfortable and baggy but also looks very nice with a lot of stuff then on top I have my blazer which is from River island which is my naught autumn purchase! Then I have the same accessories again and different shoes from monkey schu which are again loafer style!

So that's about it! I know their is only a few outfit ideas but I wanted it uploaded before school starts which is tomorrow! I hope this gives you some rough ideas on what to wear and hope you all have a goo first day!

Thicker eyebrows tip

For along time people have been filling their eyebrows in and I'm one of them! I feel incomplete without my eyebrows filled in and I think it's finishes off you're makeup look. I only lightly fill mine out with just a natural collection eyeshadow in the shade Crushed Walnut as this matches my hair colour and eye colour funnier enough perfectly!

I normally fill them in with a Mac 266 small angle brush and this works perfectly to fill them in! But I have been looking online at YouTube tutorials and of models and how they have their makeup done and have found out that bold and big eyebrows are in which I haven't really tried so I thought why not give it a go!

So my secret tip to make them bolder is to use a thicker brush and the one I used was the Mac 275 which is the medium angled shading brush and I just fill my eyebrows out with it and leave the ends and the fronts and go back to then after with the smaller angles brush and you can instantly see how thicker they get and I honestly love it and I'm so happy I found out about it from a youtube video because again I think this year big brows are going to be in.

This was just a quick post because I had to tell you about the secret to bigger, bolder brows because I have been seeing them in magazines on models and I just wanted to give people a tip on how to get bolder brows especially if you have thinner brows!

What's in my school bag!

Finally a back to school post, I have a few more that I will be uploading I know I'm a bit late as people have already started school but better late then never!! This year me and Abbie go into sixth form so that means we have to buy all sorts of stuff like folders, notepads, plastic wallets and dividers ect! In my opinion it's better to be more prepared with more stuff so I have kinda go over the top with school stuff this year!

First let's just start off with my school bag in general! At the start of the 6 weeks and the sixth form induction day I used a beautiful bag from H&M but unfortunately it wasn't big enough and hardly fitted any folders in so I changed to a bag that I brought ages ago and didn't get chance to use it and that my River Island Black Sauede Shoulder bag! I don't think they have it in stores any more and I can't remember the price of it but it's a lovely bag and has lots of room so if I have 2 folders I need to carry one can go in my bag and the other can be held. Whats also great about it is that inside it has a very small pouch which is perfect for phone and money because it blends in with the bag as well so I will be putting my phone in it so that I know where it is because this year we will not be wearing school blazers so we won't be able to put our phones in the pockets! So I will just be putting my phone and some money in this pocket so that I know that it's safe! I also just attached my Guardian Angle which my mom brought for me and mentally I think it brings me luck so I wanted it as close as possible to me!

Next on to stationary and I must say this year I have been getting my pens ect from cheap shops like home bargains because they sell named pens for cheaper prices and I also got cheaper highlighters as I needed more due to me taking english lit. Anyway folders, I needed 4 folders because I have chosen 4 subjects and those are English Lit, Business Studies, Media and Geography so obviously I needed big folders! So I have one which is from Wilkos and it has a cute Paris theme to it so it was a must, then the last 3 are from WHSmiths and these were 3 from something which I can't remember so I got a Pink A4 Folder and 2 purple ones but I didn't want 2 purple ones so I improvised and my mom went out and brought a Vinyl Decorative Paper which is a roll of sticky paper and the one I got was with love hearts and you just peel and cover books, folders, pens, pencils anything really and I just thought it was really cute and different and that was just from homebargins. Then I have 2 notepads as it's better to be safe then sorry and not buy any and the first one which is purple with a pattern on is from Pound Land and then the second one which has also 4 dividers in it is from Aldi and I liked this one because it had the dividers already in but I still went out and brought 4 packets of folder dividers and those are pastel colours from Home Bargains.

Then lastly for stationary I have my pencil case and every year my pencil case gets smaller and smaller and again 2 year running I went to paperchase for mine and I got this silvery glitter rounded pencil case which is simple but still cute! It actually holds a lot as I have different coloured pens for different things and more black ink pens because last year I ran out! I have all my pens which you can get from Rymans or Poundland like I did, then my highlighters which are also from poundland, then my Paper Mate Ink Joy which you can get from anywhere and I have used a lot of last year stuff as I didn't need new stationary again.

Then lastly I have my 'Survival Kit' as I like to call it which just holds my extra bits that I take to school. I just put them in a makeup bag which I found lying around my room when I cleaned it out because if it's there I might as well just use it, anyway in it i carry some tissues because they are vital things in my opinion then I have a pad because obviously being a girl means mother nature likes to surprise you then I have plasters, earphones which are a must have, crayons as they didn't fit in my pencil case along with my sharpener and then my keys and lastly paracetamol.

And that's it thats what will be in my bag for the first year of sixth form and the only thing I'm looking forward to about school is that I never have to do PE again! No I'm actually happy that I have chosen what I want to do and hopefully will enjoy them a lot more! There is a few more blog posts related to school which are going to be uploaded soon so hang fire for them!

If you have started school yet?! leave a comment on what you're essentials are in your bag for school?

Urban Decay Foundation Review

Another review!! I really like review posts as I think it's good to show people how good the product actually is. This review post will be on the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless ultra definition liquid makeup! I brought this along with a urban decay optical blurring brush which I will go into more detail after, when I went shopping for sixth form clothes and I have been wanting to try and foundation as I normally use a by cream all year round but last year I was very place as the winter months came by and this year I wanted to try and foundation!

I don't normally wear foundation and luckily my skin is in a really good condition, but I don't apply much because I don't like to look like a Barbie doll and have makeup all on my clothes because that is something I don't like and it's not me so with this one I'm able to apply a thin cover of foundation and still get the coverage I need! The coverage from this foundation is amazing for example at the moment I have freckles on my face due to being on holiday and they stand out a lot so when I used the Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation it covered it straight away with just one brush over my nose! The other thing about this foundation is that it's not heavy and It doesn't feel tacky on my face which is something I like, because it's not nice when you can feel your'e makeup on your face because in my opinion that means you have a good amount of makeup on your face but with this one it's perfect!

The shade that I got it in was 4 and this was the perfect match for me as my skin type is olive so I'm dark but not that dark and this was perfect, I would recommend however asking for a match instead of just buying one that looks like it suits you're skin colour because it is pricey but the bottle is quite big and it's also a pump action bottle which in my opinion is better as you can get as much as you want out of the bottle and I think it's better value because it wont run out as quick and you can pump the amount out that you want instead of bringing out loads and then washing/wiping it off!

My application with this foundation is simple I use the back of my hand and do 1 small pump and use that with the Optical Blurring Brush and the best way to apply it the lady said was to scoop the foundation on to the brush and then once I have applied the 1 small pump I pump one last blob of foundation on my back on the hand again and that's me done as it gives me good coverage.

Optical Blurring Brush was recommended to me by the lady who matched me with the foundation but I was going to purchase one online which I found on Instagram where you can get them a bit cheaper but also to the best quality and the company is called Complexion Perfection. The Optical Blurring Brush is made to give you a flawless finish to your makeup and its distributes the product evenly and it's true to it's words it does, it's perfect and with the brush having densely packed hairs. I really recommend this brush to apply bb cream or foundation!

Overall I'm really happy with this foundation and I have been using it for a couple days now and it turns out it really suits my skin as my skin hasn't changed since I have started using it so the picture below shows my everyday makeup routine which could be a blog post in the future and If you would like me to do a blog post on that then just leave a comment and I hope you enjoyed this post because I really enjoyed writing it!
